I don't really play Competitively much, just Co-op mostly (Like Warframe) that's why I'm waiting on Destiny :D

So Christmas was pretty neat this year, another Boy was born in our family :) the sun was shining (But still frickin' Cold Dx) and my oldest Brother got me a PS4 as an early Present :D I am really loving it so far! xD my older brother got a PS4 too, and then my littlest brother got his PS4, and now my little brother's also steering towards greatness, and getting a PS4 :D

Awww yeeeeahh ;D so what have I been doing with it lately? :) well just today I beat Killzone: Shadow Fall, and downloaded the "Free to Play" Warframe, that game is crazy fun x3 gonna start Battlefield 4 sometime this week, my older bro lend me his BF4 btw, we're lending games to each other so it's all good :)

In my more recent uploads, you may see a little Moon symbol on the bottom left or right, or etched on the clothing/armor of the person in the painting (See my PS4 FB Timeline cover for an example) Yeah I've updated my ''sig'' again, The moons are simply my Initials GQ.

Me :D jk x3 hehe My Art is great, problem is.. alot of people around here don't really want to get to know me :/ that's why they don't talk to me, they don't want to get me out of my shell, they simply refuse to; which is why recently one guy JUST found out that the "Pictures" I upload to my FB are actually my digital paintings, even though he was in my FB friends list for nearly a YEAR! D8 like seriously, Dafuq? My little "Gary Kei" signature are also visible, I'm surprised he didn't see them at all d:

Hello, I've been thinking about putting a shoutbox on my Homepage, but I did some research about other Artists out there who are met with anonymous signers posting hurtful comments, telling them their Site sucked; I just don't want to see those type of things like that here, I may also not be the most skilled Artist out there, but I'm learning (: slowly I guess heh

In Paint Tool Sai I usually start off with creating a Canvas (Obviously) with around 800x900 size, sometimes 900x1100 or 500x500 for my quick sketches, the professionals work with their sizes set to 2000x3500, beyond 1000+ Canvas sizes, that's how they put all those details in, I just can't do that with this little laptop :P I don't have enough field of view, and it would have a little "Lag" effect when I did try lol x3 also they would have multiple Layers set in for a more individual painting of certain areas, like the background, the right arm of a robot, individual layers for their eyes, skin or hair highlighting etc.

So anyways, I've covered my Canvas thingy, so what I usually do next is create layers I always name as "Lining" "Color" & "Background" as you see on my latest works, you see thick lining with coloring in it and background as usual; I use the Pen tool with the size set as "x0.1" and set to "10.0" and the Min Size to "0%" and the Density to 100%"

But there is one painting I did, that painting of a Xenomorph with bright Yellow lighting shining to its face, that one I made Layers named as "Guideline" "Painting" & "Background" the Guideline I used as a guide for my Alien (I used a red color) then painted over the Guide with black with my "Painting" layer and continously shaded it with Dark to light coloring, I also used the Airbrush Tool with a Brush Shape called "Spread" I thought a different brush would result in a slightly different look, and the results were pretty awesome :D so after that I did the Background. OH and then after all the Layers are done, I click on the "Merge Down Layer" which is pasted onto the Lower layer, I hope I'm being clear:
Layer 1 > Lining

Layer 2 > Coloring

Layer 3 > Background

Clicked on "Layer 1" then "Merge down Layer" and the 1st Layer is merged to Layer 2, when all 3 were merged it's pretty much done.

One more thing, the way I usually color with is a tool called "Select" which allows me to color in a specific spot like Armor, or the face; without having to worry about coloring through my lining, the "Lasso tool" can also do this but I never actually used it much, there's tutorials for the thingy called "Magic Wand" that's in it too, but I just get confused by its instructions easily o_o lol

As I am now a Digital Artist, I tried to draw by hand D: and as none of you may know, I have a slight addiction to Caffeine, wherever it may be: Coffee, Rockstar, Redbull, Monster, Assault, Full Throttle or basically anything with caffeine, I'm onboard x3 so anyways, the caffeine makes my hand shake alot, obviously.. and drawing by Pencil was freakishly difficult O. o I gotta admit though, I miss drawing on Paper, and now my Pencils, Paper and Gel Pens are sitting lonely in my dresser, collecting dust d: also very few of you know that I am a former MS Paint pro (: yes, THAT MS Paint, pixel work and all; as I'm looking back I'm surprised at how in the world I got good at this <.< lol using nothing but the Curve Tool, a Red lining guide and possibly 20 - 35 minutes of coloring & finishing touches :/ and *surprise* using a Laptop Touchpad o_o back then I used a Mouse too.
(Fact: I was really young, possibly around 7-10 when I got hooked on Art and nothing else, I watched the show "Art Attack" so many times)
 

How I started:

1. Pencil Crayons (I was young, so I had absolutely no money to get myself some decent supplies :P)

4.Microsoft Paint + Mouse

5.Microsoft Paint + Touchpad

6.Pen Tablet (Today)

Oh how far I've gotten :) I apologize that I didn't specify the age I was for the list above, or when the year was; I may be an awesome Artist but my Memory is crap d: lol

Apparently it's this day, so I will be bringing out my Spider-Man Noir & Marvel digital comics to give em a good read, I hope you fellow geeks have a good one as well :3

So, I've broken down the Projects, listed the ones with the most favorited (By me of course) and I've chosen something, I really want to do these stories and be known around my home, I want to leave a mark, you know? (: Also I've got a group to create, one that focuses on creating short stories & Comics, problem is I'm barely getting support D: maybe they didn't see it lol Idk, Imma go try it again :/
